Frequently Asked Questions

Does the EU AI Act apply to my company?

Most likely yes. The AI Act applies to anyone who develops, deploys, or uses AI systems in the EU – regardless of where the company is based. If you use AI in HR, customer support, or decision-making processes, you need an audit.

What are the penalties for non-compliance?

Fines can reach up to 35 million EUR or 7% of global annual turnover (whichever is higher) for the most serious violations. Even minor offenses can cost up to 15 million EUR.

What is AI literacy and why is it mandatory?

The AI Act requires employees working with AI systems to have sufficient knowledge about how they work, their risks, and limitations. Training is mandatory and must be documented.

How long does compliance preparation take?

It depends on the complexity of your AI systems. Basic audit takes 2-4 weeks. Full implementation including documentation and training typically takes 2-4 months.
